All types of shows and artists have performed at the Fox; Broadway musicals and plays, rock heros, country icons, R&B legends, and comedy trailblazers to name a few.  These shows have left indelible impressions on audiences, but they’ve also permanently left their mark on the walls of the Fox.

Touring shows carry a stencil of their logo to mark touring cases and equipment.  The tours use this stencil, or sometimes free-hand, to decorate the walls of the venues they visit.  This has been a fairly common practice for most theatres, but for years this wasn’t allowed at the Fox until the 1980s.  This art is painted primarily in the spotlight or projection booth, although more stencil art can be found in parts of the backstage area.

Most of the names on the walls were the spotlight operators that worked that particular show.
